Babak Golkar is a Vancouver-based Visual Artist, Production Designer, and Art Director, and the founder of Art For Films.

My responsibilities include designing sets, overseeing their construction, and creating detailed plans and renderings for set decoration. I also manage the props, costumes and graphics teams to ensure visual consistency throughout the production. From the beginning of prep to wrapping the shoot, I maintain clear communication with executive producers, directors and directors of photography to ensure that the creative vision is fully realized. In collaboration with production managers, I ensure that our sets are created within a locked budget. My goal is to make every frame visually compelling, captivating the audience, and immersing them in the story’s world. Drawing from my background in visual arts, I bring a unique perspective and a high level of artistry to every project I undertake.
